The East Africa Music Awards (EAMA) is a not-for-profit initiative formed by Global Media Ltd in 2015 whose mission is to promote and improve the music industry by the advancement of artists within it. 

EAMA provides a forum for its members to meet and exchange information, ideas, and solutions to important issues facing the music industry. It offers individual members an opportunity to expand personal and business networks, maintain awareness of industry developments, improve skills and knowledge, and make a contribution to other artists in the music industry.

EAMA’s Objectives: 

1. To unite artists actively involved in the various areas of the music industry for their mutual benefit.

2. Promote co-operation, fellowship, and a better understanding amongst East Africans.

3. Promote education and contribute to the betterment of the music industry.

4. Encourage youths to pursue and establish careers in Music.

5. Provide members with an awareness of issues relating to the industry.

6. Provide an extensive range of activities to assist and promote artists within the music industry, through:
